This unique property on 127 acres offers many possibilities. A large kennel facility complete with 18 runs and two suites, central air & full bath and a smaller four run kennel; an expansive hunting preserve - sellers ran a pheasant and quail hunting preserve until recently. The license can be renewed and transferred to the new owner. We have started on the flooring! We are using 2 different Trex materials.

This is a slower process because we are using clips vs screws. This creates a very nice finished look.

Forest Lakes is simply a great neighborhood in Charlottesville!

Whenever I am showing homes to families near NGIC Real Estate, my clients often ask
about Forest Lakes in Charlottesville.

Forest Lakes is a great community with approx. 1,400 homes, Forest Lakes has six beautiful lakes, wooded lots, miles of walking and biking paths. There are 2 large swimming pools (one with a water slide), two basketball courts, 10 tennis courts (8 lighted), two soccer fields, and a fitness center are available to all residents.

This is a fine homes with a full finished basement! (My Clients work at NGIC)

This home in Forest Lakes South is outstanding, full basement and fenced rear yard!

Forest Lakes is conveniently located in northern Albemarle County (Charlottesville, Virginia).  It is conveniently located off US Route 29, only about five minutes from the Charlottesville/Albemarle Airport.

Forest Lakes is also divided into two main sections:

Forest Lakes North and Forest Lakes South. Each section is further divided into several smaller neighborhoods. 

Most are quiet cul-de-sacs with homes of similar size and style. Residential units include townhome, duplexes, and single-family detached houses.

Schools are very conveniently located between Forest Lakes North and Forest Lakes South.

We got the call yesterday that several family members are leaving New Orleans, because of Hurricane Gustav, and coming to stay with us in Virginia. Yes all the way to Charlottesville Virginia, about 20-24 hours depending on how long it takes to get out of the city.

My Brother Pat (who I have not seen in a long time) his daughter (my niece), her husband, their six year old, their one year old, four (4) dogs and a cat!!!

We are going to have a house full and all I can say is fantastic!!!

We are looking foreword to seeing everyone and we may be crowded but it will be "All in the Family"

Now my brother is older than I am but I may look more like Archie Bunker!!! LOL

I just love the sky after a storm!!!

Charlottesville Virginia  seems to get the tail end of hurricanes (from the South) and the Northern storms that come from Canada seem to hit a lot harder in the DC area (and New England) than they do in our area.
